I am a somatic trauma informed holistic therapist.
Diving deep into my own trauma taught me that healing is a truly holistic process aligning body, mind and soul.
I will guide you through unlocking personal or ancestral trauma that keeps you from being you.
HOLISTIC AND SOMATIC HEALING
I believe healing is a deeply somatic process that cannot be intellectualised.
My journey taught me that most if not all of the symptoms people suffer from (PTSD, C-PTSD, insomnia, chronic pain, allergies, addictions, low self esteem, social anxiety, perfectionism, depression, anxiety, fibromyalgia, panic attacks and more) are not diseases to be fixed, but symptoms of past and unresolved trauma, often suppressed and stored in the body.
Trauma is a fact of life, it doesn’t have to be an extremely distressing event. Our world is highly fragmented and in pain, and most of us didn’t get our emotional needs met in childhood.
I work deep in the subconscious and the body, to access and gently transmute the trauma which is the root cause of the symptom and create long lasting change.
This isn’t traditional talk therapy, it is a deep dive, held with love, compassion and safety.

BODY, MIND and SOUL
Body
We unlock that trauma through connecting to the wisdom of the body, attuning to what is present, and with acceptance and love, transmute the initial traumatic frozen energy into restored life energy.
Mind
We work into the subconscious mind, unlocking deep rooted beliefs and bringing awareness to the shadow. Learning and integrating cognitively what really happened to us and how it affected us is part of the journey.
Soul
It seems that on that journey a deeper process takes place whether we want it or not. A deeper part of ourselves -what we truly are below our patterning, what we can call Soul- emerges through the cracks of our initial trauma, guiding us back home to ourselves, and pushing us to align our life with our truest self.
SESSIONS WITH ZOE
HEALING TROUGH THE BODY
Sessions with me are deeply somatic.
The tools I use mirror the result of my own process of research to heal myself. However, healing is a deeply mystical process and not just a rational one. We are not broken machines in need of fixing. There is not one path or one way of healing, and the tools are only that, tools. Love, presence, co-regulation between client and therapist and space are equally important for the magic to happen.
My sessions involve using a variety of tools to process trauma though the body such as EFT and IEMT (similar to EMDR, using eye movement to release what is stuck), somatic techniques, inner child work, parts work, nervous system regulation, as well as a safe and loving presence to guide you back to your body and emotions safely.
My work is a mix of all these modalities. In a session we start from the symptom and gently track it to something frozen in the past that needs our attention, and I will use these tools in an intuitive manner to help you process the trauma.
A GUIDE IN THE DARKNESS
My role is also a bit different from more traditional counselling or therapy. I am not here to analyse, judge, give you advice on what you should do, I am not superior to you in any way. It is a more human and natural approach to the client-therapist relationship. I will sit with you where you’re at with love, space and empathy to the best of my ability, but ultimately I am myself, not playing a role of a therapist. This will give you the permission to show up as yourself too, and to create genuine intimacy and connection between us which plays such a big role in healing trauma.
We are often afraid or our own darkness, yet it is only by accepting holding and loving our darkness that we heal and alchemise it into light. My intention is to create a safe space to guide you gently to your own darkness and midwife you back to your whole Self.
It is only because I have been on that journey myself (and still am) that I can guide you through it. I believe we cannot take someone to a level of depth we haven’t explored in ourselves. This is why my own journey is my main teacher.
SOULWORK
Ultimately, we were all born in a very traumatised and fragmented world. We have all learnt from a very young age to repress certain parts of us as a way to maintain human connection. We are in a time of coming home, and this starts with coming home to ourself first, to our messy, crazy, hurt, angry, violent, wild and weird nature.
Having been there myself, I hope to be able to give you a space to explore all parts of you without judgment or shame, so that you can integrate those parts into yourself and not suppress them, because what what is suppressed governs our life until it is felt and seen.
The Soul calls for complete freedom. This is why this space is free from expectations, you lead the way. You can start to work with me, take a break and end it at any time. There is no pressure to get better, but a space to be. Moreover, I have found even modern therapy to be very restrictive at times. Often when we start we want to dig deep into our past and get it done and over with. But sometimes we don’t need a deep healing session, but we still want holding, empathy and love. So a session can be just that, holding, guidance, or support towards exploring your creative or spiritual self.
Wherever you are at in the journey, I can hold space for you.
THE tools I USE
WHAT IS EFT?
EFT is a very gentle technique that naturally calms the body’s stress response by tapping on certain meridian points of the body. It allows clients to access unresolved and suppressed trauma safely and to process unresolved feelings, memories and beliefs stored in the subconscious. This allows for profound and long lasting change.
EFT is so gentle and soothing for the nervous system that it allows clients to safely access any traumatic material.
WHAT IS SOMATIC HEALING?
Most of us are very disconnected from our bodies, as it wasn’t safe to be embodied as children. Our bodies hold our past trauma and suppressed emotions, and remember everything we went through. By learning to attune to what is present in the body (tension, emotion, sensation) and listening to what it needs to move through and be released (presence, love, movement, sound) we can let the frozen energy from the past move out of gently. Our bodies hold our wisdom and intuition, the more we heal, the more we reconnect to who we really are.
WHAT IS IEMT?
Similar to EMDR, IEMT uses precise eye movement patterns to recalibrate maladaptive responses, allowing individuals to process distressing memories, alleviate negative emotions, and develop healthier mental frameworks. Unlike traditional talk therapies, IEMT operates on a neurobiological level, often producing rapid and lasting results.
WHAT IS INNER CHILD AND PARTS WORK?
When we go through a traumatic experience (neglect, abuse) as children, the part of us undergoing that trauma freezes in time. The inner child is the part of us that never grew up, but holds beliefs, emotions and memories from the past, and controls our life experience, emotional reactions and decisions. Until we heal the inner child, we see life from the lens of that child.
We often develop protector parts in our psyche to protect us from accessing that pain. Inner child work and parts work is a way to tend to those hurt and protective parts of us, restore love and compassion for ourselves, and help them “grow up”so that they don’t control our adult lives anymore.
